Government College University (GCU) Lahore, together with the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund (PWWF), has announced 100% free education opportunities for eligible applicants.
The program includes 50 reserved seats in Intermediate and BS (Hons) programs at GCU Lahore’s Main Campus and KSK Campus.
20 seats for Intermediate students
Out of the 50 seats, 20 are reserved for intermediate programs.
Students can apply for Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS/General Science, I.Com, and Arts/Humanities.
GCU Lahore has allocated five seats at its main campus and another 15 at the KSK campus.
30 seats for BS programs
Another 30 seats are available in selected BS programs.
At the Main Campus, reserved seats are available for BS Botany, BS Gender & Climate Change, BS Persian, BS Philosophy, BS Punjabi, and BS Turkish Language & Literature.
The KSK Campus has seats in BS Art History, BS Disaster Management, BS Geography, BS Global Studies, B.Ed. (4-Year), BS History, BS Islamic Studies, BS Physical Education, and BS Remote Sensing & GIS.
Who can apply?
The scheme is open to eligible industrial workers and their children who meet the requirements set by the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund.
There is one important catch.
Applicants must also meet GCU Lahore’s admission and merit requirements for the program they choose.
How to apply
Interested students can get the Nomination-cum-Admission Form from the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund website.
The completed form must be submitted along with the required educational, identity, and worker-related documents.
For eligible families, the scheme could make GCU Lahore education much more affordable — with tuition costs fully covered under the program.
