Hema Malini has no plans to return to acting
Asked about making a comeback, Hema said acting is no longer on her mind.
She said she is happy with her life and spends much of her time working for people in her constituency.
She also enjoys being around her children and grandchildren.
But Dharmendra remains a big part of her thoughts.
Hema described him as a “wonderful soulmate” who always supported her, including her passion for dance.
She said she continues to miss him deeply and lives with the memories they shared.
‘Don’t believe everything created through AI’
Hema also pushed back against reports of a family dispute after Dharmendra’s death.

Her comments came after reports suggested that she and her daughters had largely stayed away from the prayer meeting and final rites organised by Dharmendra’s first family. Separate prayer meetings were also reportedly held.
Hema urged people not to believe everything they see online, particularly content generated using artificial intelligence.
“Don’t believe everything that is created through AI,” she said.
‘We lived with true love’
Hema said she and Dharmendra never allowed public criticism to dictate their relationship.
She explained that they lived their lives according to their own choices rather than worrying about what others thought.
“We lived with true love,” she said, adding that they had always believed they were meant for each other.
Dharmendra’s two families
Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur in 1954, and they had four children — Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta and Ajeeta.
He later married Hema Malini in 1980. They had two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
Dharmendra died on November 24, 2025.
For Hema, the memories of their life together remain deeply personal, even as she continues her work and stays close to her family.
