The Punjab government has finalized the schedule for summer vacations across the province.
According to the decision approved by the provincial cabinet, summer vacations will begin on May 22 and continue until August 23.
All public and private schools across Punjab will reopen on August 24 after the completion of the summer break. The schedule applies to educational institutions throughout the province.
Cabinet approves vacation plan
The provincial cabinet formally approved the summer vacation dates during its recent meeting.

Officials said the decision was taken as part of the government’s annual academic calendar, keeping weather conditions and student welfare in view.
With the announcement, schools have been advised to make necessary arrangements to complete academic activities before the closure and prepare for reopening after the break.
