Rumours about Danish Taimoor and Ayeza Khan’s marriage have been making rounds online, but Danish’s sister-in-law has now spoken out.
Sidra Taimoor, who is married to Danish’s brother Zahid Taimoor, dismissed the speculation and said the couple is “healthy and happy.”
She also described their relationship as strong and said the divorce rumours are baseless.
What started the rumours?
Speculation grew after Ayeza Khan reportedly removed photos featuring her husband from her social media accounts.
Some of her recent posts also caught fans’ attention.
Things became even more interesting when Ayeza was absent from the premiere of Danish Taimoor’s drama Humraahi.
That led some social media users to wonder whether the couple was going through a difficult phase.
But there has been no official announcement of a separation from either actor.
Ayeza had also reportedly responded to a fan page previously and denied that she and Danish had separated.
Family member defends the couple
Sidra has now rejected the rumours outright.
She said Danish and Ayeza are doing well and share a strong bond.
She also questioned the criticism surrounding Ayeza’s absence from the Humraahi premiere.
Sidra pointed out that Ayeza had previously been criticised for attending the premiere of Sher, with some social media users accusing her of trying to attract attention.
Her comments are the first public response from a member of Danish’s family since the latest rumours began circulating.
Danish and Ayeza stay quiet
Danish Taimoor has not publicly addressed the divorce speculation.
Ayeza has also not issued a formal statement beyond her reported response to the fan page.
The couple married in 2014 and have two children. They remain one of Pakistan’s best-known celebrity couples, despite the latest wave of online speculation.
