Five men reportedly raped a transgender after being invited to Rawalpindi to perform at a private function.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Wah Cantt Police Station approximately two weeks before the start of Ramadan.
According to the victim’s statement to the police, the suspects not only raped her but also recorded videos and took photos of the assault.
Subsequently, they began to blackmail her with these explicit materials when she refused their demands.
This led to severe mental distress for the victim as the perpetrators shared the videos and photos on social media.
The victim disclosed that she used to perform at wedding events and established contact with Chaudhry Sarfraz from Rawalpindi through social media, subsequently developing a friendship.
