Under the directive of LWMC CEO Babar Din, the HR department has officially announced a bonus of Rs5,000 for each Christian employee, aimed at commemorating their religious festivals.
Inclusive Initiative Encompasses Various Roles
The bonus initiative will encompass a wide array of roles within the LWMC, including 9,199 sanitary workers, 73 supervisors, 250 drivers, and 6 helpers, reflecting the company’s commitment to inclusivity and fairness.
Comprehensive City-Wide Cleanup Operation Planned
In anticipation of the Good Friday holiday, LWMC has laid out plans for a comprehensive zero waste operation across the city.
This initiative will see all workers dedicating an additional two hours to fieldwork to ensure the city remains pristine during the festivities.
Special Focus on Church Cleaning and Christian Colonies
Ahead of Easter ceremonies, LWMC has earmarked resources to clean and maintain 266 churches throughout the city.
Moreover, special attention will be given to 78 Christian colonies, with manual sweeping and scraping activities planned to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
