This initiative, spearheaded by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, aims to alleviate the financial burden on the populace, particularly targeting the economically vulnerable segments of society.

A pivotal aspect of the Ramadan package includes the distribution of Rs5000 cash to 60% of the population in the province, translating to approximately 4.5 million families earning minimum wage.

This financial assistance, to be facilitated through bank transfers, is intended to provide immediate relief to households facing economic hardships.

Furthermore, families with earnings below Rs32000 will also benefit from the package, receiving the Rs5000 assistance directly into their bank accounts.

In a parallel effort, the Sindh Zakat Department has committed to providing Rs14,000 to 110,000 impoverished families, further amplifying the reach of the relief initiative.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah emphasized the importance of curbing inflationary pressures by cracking down on hoarders and profiteers in Karachi, with similar enforcement measures slated for other divisions within the province.

The government is resolute in its stance to enforce fixed prices for essential commodities, with Chief Minister Shah personally pledging to oversee market dynamics to ensure compliance.

In addition to economic relief measures, Chief Minister Shah directed stringent measures to guarantee uninterrupted power supply during Sehri and Iftar throughout the province during the sacred month of Ramadan.

Power companies have been urged to prioritize stability in electricity provision during these critical times, underscoring the government’s commitment to facilitating a conducive environment for religious observance and communal harmony.
