China announces scholarships for Pakistani students. The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is extending research and study opportunities for Pakistani scholars and students in Chinese universities for the upcoming academic year 2024–2025.
The Chinese government has formally designated the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan to oversee these scholarships on behalf of the Pakistani government.
The overarching goal of this initiative is to foster educational prospects for international students and researchers pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degrees.
The application process for this program is open, with interested candidates able to submit their applications via the relevant HEC portal or the CSC’s portal until December 28. Comprehensive information is available on the official HEC website.
As outlined on the official HEC platform, the CSC, acting under the auspices of China’s Ministry of Education, holds responsibility for the enrollment and management of the Chinese Government Scholarship Program.
Notably, applicants seeking consideration for the program in the academic year 2024–2025 must possess a valid Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) or Higher Education Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) score, obtained after January 1, 2022.
