Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh’s granddaughter killed. In a lamentable turn of events, Roaa Hammam Ismail Haniyeh, a medical student enrolled at the Islamic University of Gaza and the granddaughter of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, is reported to have lost her life during an Israeli bombing in Gaza on Friday.

Sources indicate that Roaa was among the casualties of an Israeli air strike targeting the Shaheen family in the Gaza Strip.

According to data released by the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the overall death toll resulting from the Israeli bombing has surged to 11,078, a figure that includes 4,506 children, 3,027 women, and 678 elderly individuals since October 7.

The toll on the Palestinian population is further exacerbated by the reported injuries, with 27,490 individuals sustaining various degrees of harm.

Conversely, the Hebrew Broadcasting Authority has documented the number of Israeli soldiers and settlers who have lost their lives in the conflict, reaching 1,538.

Among them, 355 are reported as soldiers, with approximately 5,000 others sustaining injuries.
