PSL7: Lahore Qalandars against Peshawar Zalmi today

This will be the final game of the league stage of the current edition of the Pakistan Super League, which will be played in Lahore between Afridi-led Qalandars and Yellow Storm Peshawar Zalmi (PSL).

Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host the 30th match of the Pakistan Super League’s T20 event at 7:30 p.m.

Both teams have already qualified for the playoffs, so they’ll be vying for the top spot when they take the field today. Second in the points rankings, Qalandars have a record of six victories out of nine.

Today’s game comes after an incredible 66-run victory over Islamabad United, and the team under the leadership of a young skipper is hoping to continue their winning streak into Qualifier 1.

Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan spinner, left Lahore Qalandars on Saturday after his final game for the team. The right-arm spinner was given a proper send-off by his teammates, who embraced him in a giant bear hug.

Zalmi, on the other hand, won three of their last four games, but fell to Qalandars in the last match to miss out on third place.

When the toss is won, the team that wins will be the first to field, thanks to Gaddafi’s pitch.
