Quetta Gladiators all set to strive for 3rd spot on points table

PSL 9: Quetta Gladiators beats Islamabad United by three wickets

In their second match against Islamabad United in the seventh season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Sarfaraz Ahmed’s Quetta Gladiators will be striving for 3rd spot on the points table. The match will be contested today (February 12, 2022) at 7:30pm at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

Gladiators will be looking to avenge a loss against United in their most recent match.

However, it is important to note that the Gladiators have been dealt a severe blow as Mohammad Nawaz was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to injury. Jason Roy’s return to the club, who scored a blazing century in their last encounter against Lahore Qalandars, will give them hope.

Meanwhile, Islamabad United, the two-time champions, appear confident ahead of the match as they look to improve their position on the points table, where they are now in third place with six points.

There have been 14 encounters between the two teams so far, with Quetta Gladiators winning seven and Islamabad United winning seven.
