The Sindh government has announced strict and unprecedented action against cheating in board examinations, declaring that students found involved in malpractice will face a lifetime ban from appearing in any future board exams.
Under the new policy, all examination papers of students caught cheating will be immediately cancelled, and they will be barred from continuing in the ongoing examinations as well as any future matriculation or intermediate exams.
Zero tolerance policy enforced
The decision was confirmed in a joint statement by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo and Education Minister Sardar Shah.
Both ministers emphasized that the provincial government has adopted a zero tolerance policy toward cheating, stressing that no student or official involved in malpractice will be spared.

The crackdown extends beyond students. Teachers, invigilators, internal and external examination staff, and administrative officers found facilitating or ignoring cheating will face departmental action, including dismissal from service.
