Winter vacation in educational institutions will be held at the end of January, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
The NCOC clarified that winter vacation will continue in places where snow is currently falling.
Before making a decision, the NCOC consulted and debated the proposal with all provinces at the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference.
According to NCOC sources, the immunization effort in schools will continue unabated.
It’s worth noting that Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood had just tweeted the day before that the federal and provincial secretaries had met on Tuesday and agreed on a proposal to hold winter breaks from December 25 to January 4.
