Shefali Shah talks about red flags in relationship

Shefali Shah is delighted with the success of her latest project Darlings, starring Alia Bhatt and Vijay Varma. In the Netflix original, Bhatt’s maiden work sparked controversy over domestic violence and abusive relationships, with Shah playing the wayward mother of her star Gangbhai Katyaawadi in the film. She is determined to save her daughter.

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, the Delhi Crimes actress shed light on what she considers to be the biggest red flags in a relationship.

The actor continued, “I know rudeness starts with a very light level of humor, but I don’t realize it.” She becomes less interesting after a while. she said, “If you want to say something but have to hold back, you have a serious problem. You really want to share something, but you start thinking that you’re going to let it go because it’s not responding well.”

Shah added: “If you’re worried about being yourself in front of someone, be it good, bad, ugly, that’s a problem. In a relationship, be safe, secure and accepted must be felt. Don’t worry it’s a good thing, but let it go.”

In a separate interview, the actress shared her thoughts on making her dark comedy while being conscious of the sensitivity of her subjects: “Well, it’s hard to use words.”
She added: This issue was released as it was discovered. But the caption says otherwise. “Hitting a woman is self-harm,” becomes a comedy of errors. No one laughs at this situation”.

The Dil Dadakhne Du star said, “We hate it and have strong feelings about it. But it’s funny no matter what’s going on around us because of that situation. The way these characters speak is essentially what they say. you don’t want to be funny They are just like that. So that’s all, not sensational. The sensitivity and importance of this conversation should never be compromised.”

She further added, “It’s a very delicate, very pertinent and very important conversation. I wish we didn’t have to have these conversations. I wish it just stopped. But unfortunately [that’s not the case].”
