The Punjab government has decided to support deserving minority students seeking to appear in competitive examinations for senior government positions, including the CSS and PMS examinations.
According to the Minorities Affairs Department, the government will cover eligible students’ expenses related to the competitive examinations and provide them with academic support during their preparation.
Support for CSS and PMS Preparation

The department said deserving minority students who plan to appear in the CSS and PMS exams will receive assistance to help them prepare for the highly competitive examinations.
The support will include access to quality preparatory services and academic guidance aimed at improving students’ chances of competing for higher government positions.
The government will also assist eligible students with academy fees and other necessary preparation-related expenses, according to the department.
Focus on Equal Opportunities
The initiative is intended to provide deserving minority students with greater access to resources needed to prepare for competitive examinations.
Many candidates preparing for CSS and PMS examinations rely on private academies, study materials and other paid services. Financial assistance could help eligible students who may otherwise face difficulties meeting these costs.
The Minorities Affairs Department said the initiative would provide deserving students with an opportunity to pursue careers in the government through the competitive examination system.
The programme will cover eligible expenses associated with exam preparation, while students will be able to benefit from academic and preparatory support as they work toward appearing in the examinations.
