The deadline for biometric registration for Hajj 2026 has been extended to February 17, after originally expiring on February 8. The extension aims to facilitate intending pilgrims and ensure compliance with Saudi visa requirements.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has emphasized that biometric verification is mandatory for obtaining a Saudi visa, and pilgrims who fail to complete the process will not be allowed to perform Hajj this year.
How to Complete Biometric Registration
Pilgrims can now complete their biometric registration from home using the Saudi Visa Bio app. The registration process requires:
Signing up via email
Uploading a scanned copy of the passport
Taking a selfie
Providing fingerprint verification for both hands
After completing the process, a confirmation email is sent, which must be retained for future reference.

Pilgrims experiencing issues with the app can receive assistance at Tasheer Centers nationwide or at designated bank branches.
