ISLAMABAD: Raja Pervez Ashraf, a legislator from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was chosen Speaker of the National Assembly during a session on Saturday.
The former prime minister was sworn in as Speaker of the National Assembly and is now in charge of the session.
