PTI is set to protest against ‘electoral rigging’ in Islamabad on March 30.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has declared its intention to hold a public rally in Islamabad on March 30, denouncing what it perceives as election irregularities, post-election result manipulations, and violations of the Constitution during the February 8 general elections.

KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has accused Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led regime of stealing PTI’s 180 seats in the recent elections, asserting that the incumbent rulers unfairly seized their electoral mandate.

“The incumbent government at the Centre has been formed after stealing PTI’s 180 seats.”

PTI’s Commemoration of Pakistan Day

The PTI core committee has decided to mark Pakistan Day with patriotic fervor and a renewed commitment to the nation’s progress and stability, coinciding with the celebration scheduled for tomorrow.

PTI’s Efforts to Secure Permission for the Rally

Although the PTI initially sought permission for the rally from the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner’s Office, the lack of response prompted the party to petition the Islamabad High Court seeking approval.

Despite the delay, the PTI intends to proceed with a peaceful protest rally on the designated day.

PTI’s Concerns Over IMF Package

In anticipation of the Islamabad rally, the PTI plans to conduct a press briefing on March 25 regarding the International Monetary Fund (IMF) package and its perceived negative impacts on the economy and the general populace.

Pakistan’s IMF Arrangement Set to Expire

With Pakistan’s current $3 billion IMF arrangement set to expire on April 11, discussions for an Extended Fund Facility (EFF) will take place in Washington next month, as announced by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.

PTI’s Nationwide Protest Plans

In addition to the Islamabad rally, the PTI intends to hold a public rally in Karachi on April 21, continuing to demand a thorough investigation into allegations of election rigging.

Discussions During PTI Meeting
