PTI leader Asad Umar finally quits politics. In a significant development within the ranks of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Asad Umar, a prominent party leader, declared his departure from the realm of politics on Monday.

Umar, who has been an integral part of the Imran Khan-led PTI, formally resigned from the basic membership of the political entity, announcing on the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter.

The seasoned politician cited a fundamental disagreement with the party’s approach towards state institutions as the chief motivator behind his decision to exit the political arena.

Umar expressed apprehension that the confrontational policy adopted by PTI had resulted in a detrimental clash with state entities, emphasizing that such discord was contrary to the nation’s best interests.
