Jahangir Khan Tareen, the estranged PTI leader, has flatly denied that he paid to manage Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Bani Gala house.
Justice (retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed, a former PTI leader, stated that Jahangir Tareen covered Imran Khan’s monthly living expenditures.
Jahangir Tareen claimed in a tweet on Wednesday that he had never contributed a dime towards Bani Gala’s living expenditures.
“Regardless of the current situation of my connection with Imran Khan, the truth must be told,” he added in his tweet. I did everything I could to assist PTI in their mission to construct a new Pakistan, but I never contributed a penny to Bani Gala’s living expenditures. “I just wanted to clear the air.”
Tareen initially provided monies worth Rs3 million per month for now-Prime Minister Imran Khan’s household expenses, which was then upped to Rs5 million per month, according to Wajihuddin.
Imran Khan’s reputation as an honest man, according to Wajihuddin, is “totally false.”
“How can you call a man honest who doesn’t even pay for his shoelaces?” Wajihuddin inquired.
