Samsung is getting ready to add another phone to its Galaxy S26 family.
The company will hold its “Galaxy Event August 2026” on Thursday, August 27, where it is expected to introduce the Galaxy S26 FE.
The event will start at 5:00 PM UTC and will be streamed live on Samsung’s website and YouTube channel.
Samsung has not officially confirmed the phone’s name or specifications yet.
Galaxy S26 FE leaks reveal key details
While Samsung is keeping quiet, leaks have already given us a glimpse of what could be coming.
A leaked EPREL label reportedly shows that the Galaxy S26 FE has an A rating for energy efficiency and an A rating for drop resistance.
Its repairability rating is C.
The phone’s battery is reportedly rated for 1,200 charging cycles and could deliver up to 50 hours of use on a single charge.
For comparison, the Galaxy S25 FE was rated for 2,000 charging cycles but offered around 42 hours and 37 minutes of endurance.
The leaked information also points to an IP68 rating, meaning the phone should offer strong protection against dust and water.
Exynos 2500 could bring the biggest upgrade
The biggest expected change may be under the hood.
The Galaxy S26 FE is reportedly set to use Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, with a Google Play Console listing providing further evidence of the processor.
Other unofficial specifications and leaked images of the phone have also appeared online.
But there is still a catch.
None of these details have been officially confirmed by Samsung.
That could change on August 27, when the company is expected to finally pull back the curtain on its newest Galaxy S26 series member.
