Actor and model Huma Saleem has accused an unnamed Pakistani cricketer of harassment, emotional abuse, and intimidation, saying she is preparing to initiate legal proceedings and will soon present supporting evidence through her legal team.
In a series of posts shared on social media, Huma alleged that the cricketer continued to harass her even after their relationship ended and attempted to damage her personal and professional reputation.
Claims of ongoing harassment
According to Huma, the alleged harassment did not stop after the relationship ended.
She claimed that whenever she tried to move forward with her life, the individual would reappear and subject her to mental distress.
“Every time I attempt to move on, he resurfaces to disturb me mentally,” she wrote.
Huma also alleged that messages intended to damage her reputation were sent to members of her family, friends and individuals connected to Pakistan’s entertainment industry after she resumed her professional work.
Allegations of a smear campaign
The actor described the relationship as emotionally abusive and accused the unnamed cricketer of being a “cheat, fraud, and womanizer.”
She further alleged that both the cricketer and members of his family participated in a sustained campaign to tarnish her reputation.
Huma said no woman willingly exposes herself to public scrutiny unless she has exhausted all other options.
Claims involving PCB funds
In addition to the personal allegations, Huma claimed she possesses information relating to the cricketer’s alleged use of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) funds at hotels.
She did not provide evidence to support the allegation in her initial statements but said documentary proof was being compiled by her legal team.
According to Huma, further details and supporting evidence will be presented as part of legal proceedings in the coming days.
