LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has issued roll number slips for candidates appearing in the Intermediate Part-I annual examinations 2026, formally setting the stage for the upcoming exam cycle.
According to BISE Lahore spokesperson Tahir Javed, the Intermediate Part-I examinations will commence on June 15, and all administrative and logistical arrangements have been finalized well in advance to ensure the smooth conduct of papers.
The board said a total of 168,285 students are expected to appear in the examinations this year. To accommodate the large number of candidates, BISE Lahore has established 566 examination centers across the city, covering both male and female students.
Officials stated that strict instructions have been issued to examination staff to maintain transparency and uphold examination rules at all centers. Special emphasis has been placed on preventing unfair means and ensuring that candidates are provided with a fair testing environment.
BISE Lahore has also directed authorities at examination centers to ensure the availability of basic facilities for students. These include clean drinking water, proper seating arrangements, adequate lighting, and suitable ventilation inside examination halls.

In addition, special monitoring squads have been constituted to supervise examination activities throughout the exam period. These teams will conduct surprise visits to centers to identify and address any irregularities, the board said.
The spokesperson added that candidates are advised to carefully check their roll number slips for details such as examination center, subject timings, and reporting instructions. Students have also been urged to reach their respective centers well before the start of each paper to avoid inconvenience.
The Intermediate examinations are considered a crucial academic milestone for students seeking admission to universities and professional institutions. BISE Lahore officials expressed confidence that the 2026 examination process would be completed in a disciplined and orderly manner.
Students can obtain their roll number slips through the board’s designated channels, while private candidates have been advised to follow the instructions provided by the board for accessing their examination documents.
