A source close to Ana de Armas told People that she considers Cruise a “dear friend and mentor” and “very much enjoys spending time with him”.
The insider further clarified that the Blonde actress has been single “for a while”, which casts doubt on the rumoured romantic timeline.
“They stay in touch, and she’s looking forward to their upcoming movie project,” the source added, emphasising that their connection remains purely professional.

While neither Cruise nor de Armas publicly confirmed or denied the dating rumours, Ana briefly addressed the speculation in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily.
“Obviously, everyone knows I’m working with Tom Cruise,” she said, brushing off the gossip. The Cuban-Spanish actress explained that she’s undergoing “crazy training” for their upcoming action-packed collaboration — hinting that the media may have mistaken on-set bonding for romance.
