Shahid Afridi’s eldest daughter, Aqsa, blessed with a baby girl.
Former legendary Pakistani cricket captain Shahid Afridi became a nana again on Tuesday as his eldest daughter, Aqsa, welcomed a baby girl.
Afridi shared the joyous news with the X family.
Taking to his X account (formerly Twitter), Afridi wrote, “Alhamdulilah, Allah has blessed Aqsa and Naseer with beautiful Ayra. Daughters are the most precious reflection of His mercy and the most precious blessing. Keep us in your prayers.”

The family has named the newborn Ayra.
Aqsa married Naseer Nasir on December 30 last year in an intimate nikah ceremony held in Karachi.
The event was attended by close family and friends, including renowned fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, who is married to another of Afridi’s daughters.

Videos from the ceremony showcased the close-knit family celebrating the joyous occasion.
Afridi, known for his philanthropic work and deep faith, often emphasises family values and considers daughters a divine blessing.
Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi is a Pakistani former cricketer and captain of the Pakistan national cricket team. An all-rounder, Afridi was a right-handed leg spinner and a right-handed batsman. Afridi made his ODI debut in 1996 against Kenya.
