Summer vacations have been scheduled by the Sindh government for all educational institutions from June 1, 2022, to July 31, 2022.
The provincial government has decreased the holiday period from three to two months, according to the 24News HD TV channel.
As a result, this year’s summer holidays in Sindh’s educational institutions will last only two months, and the new academic year will begin on August 1 rather than April 1.
According to a channel report, the current academic session in Sindh educational establishments would expire on May 31 rather than March 31.
On Tuesday, the Sindh Education Department’s steering committee met. The meeting was presided over by the Minister of Education.
The examinations for the fourth through eighth grades will begin on May 2, while the ninth and tenth board examinations will begin on May 17 and end on July 17.
The Chairman of the Boards promised the Minister of Education that the results would be available in two months and that admissions to higher education would be available from July 1 to July 31. Exams for the first and second years will begin on June 15th.
Education Secretary Ghulam Akbar Leghari, Secretary Colleges Khalid Haider Shah, and other steering committee members attended the meeting.
