The speculation arose after a video from Shilpa Shetty’s star-studded Diwali bash surfaced, depicting the duo holding hands while leaving the event.
Taking to his Instagram stories on November 14, Badshah addressed the viral clip with a touch of humor, expressing regret for disappointing online speculations.
Without directly addressing the dating rumors, he clarified, “Dear Internet, sorry to disappoint you yet again but jaisa aap soch rahe hain waisa nahi hai” (It’s not what you’re thinking), accompanied by laughing emojis.

The video in question captured Mrunal Thakur, adorned in a green ethnic outfit, leading the way as Badshah, dressed in a black kurta, followed closely behind.
While the footage fueled relationship rumors, Badshah’s Instagram post implies that there is no romantic connection between the two.
Earlier speculations had suggested that Mrunal Thakur was on the verge of tying the knot with a Telugu individual, but the actress promptly refuted these claims.
On the professional front, Mrunal recently appeared in ‘Pippa’ alongside Ishaan Khatter and is slated to feature in the Telugu drama ‘Hi Nanna,’ sharing the screen with Nani in the lead role.
