What does the term ‘Youthia’ mean?
The majority of educated and young Pakistanis support PTI, but they are referred to as ‘Youthia’ by opponents.
“Youthia” is slang, and therefore it is not used in any newspaper or on television. On social media and blogging websites, this word is frequently and widely used.
“Youthia” is an Urdu word for someone who is politically immature and whose arguments are based on false or fabricated sources of information.
Youthia can also be written as Youthiya or Youthya. Youthia people, plural Youthias, are primarily Imran Khan’s young PTI supporters.
They allegedly lack historical awareness and have a limited understanding of politics.
They are Nawaz Sharif’s most ardent detractors and contend that the PML-N’s infrastructure projects are a waste of money and that all resources should instead go to the police, army, hospitals, and schools. I
Imran Khan’s opponents view youth as immature and gullible supporters and consider their political stance to be unrealistic.
Terminology
The term “Youthia” is derived from the combination of Youth+Ch***ya. This terminology was coined soon after the defeat of PTI in Pakistan’s general elections in 2013. Since then, this term is used to mention PTI supporters.
Some people find this term offensive, and so it is not used in literature and magazines.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is a political party in Pakistan. It was founded in 1996 by Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan, who served as the country’s prime minister from 2018 to 2022.
The PTI is one of the three major Pakistani political parties alongside the Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML–N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), and it is the largest party in terms of representation in the National Assembly of Pakistan since the 2018 general election.
