CPL 2026 Full Schedule Released: 39 Matches, New Teams, and Historic Expansion Across Caribbean

The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has officially released the full fixture list for its 2026 season, confirming a packed schedule of 39 matches set to run from August 7 to September 20.

The upcoming edition marks a major expansion in the tournament’s history, with seven teams competing for the title for the first time.

The lineup includes Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Jamaica Kingsmen, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Saint Lucia Kings, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, and defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders.

New Venues and Historic Milestones

CPL 2026 will introduce several landmark developments aimed at expanding the league’s regional footprint. For the first time, St Vincent & the Grenadines will host CPL matches, with opening fixtures scheduled at Arnos Vale Stadium, marking a significant milestone for cricket in the island nation.

At the other end of the tournament, Barbados has been confirmed as the host of the playoffs and final week, another first in CPL history, positioning the island as the centrepiece of the season’s climax.

League Leadership Highlights Growth Ambitions

CPL Chief Executive Pete Russell described the expanded format as part of the league’s long-term strategy to enhance fan engagement and broaden cricket’s reach across the Caribbean.

He said the inclusion of new venues and an extended finals week reflects the tournament’s ambition to deliver its most competitive and entertaining season yet.

The league continues its tradition of evening matches, with most games scheduled for 7:00 p.m. local time, alongside select double headers and afternoon fixtures during the later stages of the tournament.

CPL 2026: A Growing Global Cricket Brand

Since its inception, the CPL has grown into one of the most followed T20 leagues in world cricket, attracting international stars and building a strong regional fan base.

The 2026 season’s expansion into new territories and its enhanced playoff structure underline the league’s ambition to strengthen its global standing while promoting cricket development across the Caribbean.
