Saudi Arabia allows Umrah for all visa holders – Check update

Saudi government issues new travel advisory

Saudi Arabia allows Umrah for all visa holders.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has declared that all visa holders in the Kingdom are now allowed to perform Umrah.

According to Saudi officials, the decision aims to enhance facilities for the “guests of Allah Almighty” and make pilgrimage easier for Muslims visiting the Kingdom under different visa categories.

The ministry confirmed that holders of tourist, transit, visit, and family visit visas will be eligible to perform Umrah, provided they are legally present in Saudi Arabia.

Officials emphasized that the update aligns with the government’s Vision 2030 initiative, which seeks to promote inclusivity and expand religious tourism opportunities.

Use Nusuk Umrah platform for permits

Officials have urged all applicants to use the Nusuk Umrah online platform for selecting Umrah packages and obtaining permits. The platform has been recently updated to streamline services and ensure smooth coordination for pilgrims.

“Providing all possible facilities to pilgrims is at the top of our Vision 2030 goals,” the ministry said in its official statement.

Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 reforms aim to diversify the economy by boosting tourism and religious travel. Allowing Umrah for all visa holders represents a major step toward this goal, encouraging millions of Muslims to perform the pilgrimage more conveniently during their visits.
