Indian tennis icon Sania Mirza has revealed her readiness to embrace love once more, following her divorce from Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.

During her recent appearance on the popular Netflix show, “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” Mirza candidly discussed her personal life, alongside fellow athletes Mary Kom and Saina Nehwal.

In a promo clip for the upcoming episode, the six-time Grand Slam champion shared her thoughts on finding a new love interest.
When reminded by the host of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s past remark about wanting to play her romantic lead in a biopic, Sania Mirza humorously responded, “Abhi mujhe pehle love interest dhundna hai,” which translates to, “I need to find a love interest first.”

Mirza and Malik, who married in 2010, officially ended their marriage earlier this year.
The confirmation of their separation came from Mirza’s father, Imran Mirza, in January, following Malik’s announcement of his third marriage to actress Sana Javed.
The former couple shares a five-year-old son, Izhaan.
