5 Chinese engineers have been killed in the Shangla suicide attack.
On Tuesday, Malakand’s Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) reported that at least six individuals, including five Chinese nationals, were killed in an attack on their vehicle in Besham city, Shangla.
The DIG stated that the assailants targeted the vehicle carrying the Chinese nationals by striking it with another car loaded with explosives.
The driver of the targeted vehicle was injured in the assault and has been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The DIG further revealed that the deceased Chinese nationals were engineers en route from Islamabad to Dasu camp.
