Sidhu Moose Wala’s new song ‘Watch Out’ has been released. In a posthumous musical triumph, the late Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moose Wala’s duet song, ‘Watch Out,’ made a dazzling debut on his YouTube channel this Diwali, defying expectations and capturing the attention of millions within hours of its release.

The highly anticipated track, originally slated for release two months later, was unveiled ahead of schedule due to overwhelming demand from Moose Wala’s fervent fan base.

‘Watch Out’ swiftly ascended to unprecedented success, amassing over 10 million views in the initial 30 hours, accompanied by a staggering 1.80 million likes from online users by 6 pm on Monday.

Balkaur Singh, the father of the late rapper, conveyed heartfelt gratitude to Moose Wala’s dedicated fans, acknowledging their instrumental role in the song’s early release.

The 3.40-minute musical composition, emblematic of Moose Wala’s distinctive style, explores themes of animosity, vengeance, and weaponry.

The lyrics, characterized by a powerful narrative, issue a resolute warning to adversaries, underscoring the artist’s unyielding commitment to revenge and celebration.

Setting a tone of intensity from the outset, the opening lines declare, “We carry either rifles or funerals on the shoulder. For us, revenge or vengeance is a festive celebration.”

The lyrics, laden with vigor, explicitly caution enemies to brace themselves, promising no mercy if they ever cross paths with the late artist.

Notably, references to a semi-automatic Turkish-made pistol, Zigana, add an authentic and gritty layer to the lyrical narrative.

Distinguishing itself from conventional releases, ‘Watch Out,’ the fifth posthumous offering from the 28-year-old artist-turned-politician, forgoes featuring any video of artists and instead solely showcases visuals of a tiger.

This unique approach enhances the thematic impact, allowing Moose Wala’s distinctive voice to take center stage alongside collaborator Sikander Kahlon, who shares credit for lyrics and composition.

The tragic backdrop to Moose Wala’s untimely demise on May 4, 2020, near his native village of Musa in Mansa district, Punjab, is intricately woven into the narrative.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has asserted that the weapons used in the assassination were supplied by a Pakistani arms supplier based in Dubai, identified as Hamid.

The NIA documents submitted in court revealed a complex web of connections, including meetings between Hamid, a Bulandshahr-based arms supplier, and a Canada-based aide of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Goldy Brar.

According to the investigation, Hamid disclosed plans to supply assault rifles and other weapons to Lawrence Bishnoi for the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, claiming a connection with Goldy Brar.

The plan to assassinate Moose Wala was reportedly formulated after the singer’s security was downgraded.

In the aftermath of Moose Wala’s tragic demise, ‘Watch Out’ stands as a poignant testament to the enduring impact of his artistry.

The song not only pays homage to the late rapper’s legacy but also solidifies his position as a cultural icon, leaving an indelible mark on the vibrant world of Punjabi music.
