Imran Riaz Khan set to return to Journalism following health improvement. In a recent update, Mian Ali Ashfaq, the legal representative of senior journalist and anchorperson Imran Riaz Khan, announced that Khan is poised to make a comeback to journalism in the coming months.

Speaking on a televised program, Ashfaq revealed that Imran Riaz Khan has been back for approximately five weeks, during which a dedicated private medical board has been overseeing his recovery.

Highlighting the positive progress in Khan’s health, Ashfaq mentioned that the anchorperson has shown significant improvement over the past weeks.

The medical team attending to him has implemented a comprehensive care plan, and Imran Riaz Khan is actively participating in regular speech therapy sessions.

Notably, there has been a 40 to 50 percent improvement in his condition.

The optimistic prognosis is that he is expected to resume his journalistic duties within the next one to two months.

Imran Riaz Khan, known for his vocal journalism and staunch support for former Prime Minister Imran Khan, had been conspicuously absent from public view since May.

His return on September 25, 2023, followed a period of four and a half months and occurred shortly after the Lahore High Court issued a final directive to the Punjab Police Inspector General to intensify efforts in locating the missing anchorperson.
