Administrator of Karachi announces to start “My Karachi Games” from coming week

Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the administrator of Karachi, the spokesperson for the Sindh government, and the CM’s advisor on law, announced on Wednesday that starting the following week, “My Karachi Games” will be held to encourage sports in Karachi, including both local and national competitions.

He was speaking at a meeting called by KMC and Pakistan Rangers to evaluate the plans for the My Karachi Games, which were held in honor of Pakistan’s Diamond Jubilee.

The participants in the meeting were Municipal Commissioner Syed Afzal Zaidi, Colonel Asad Kazmi, Wing Commander of the Abdullah Shah Ghazi Rangers, Senior Director Culture and Sports Saif Abbas, Senior Director Media Management Ali Hasan Sajid, Director of the Sports Complex Kaiful Wara, and other officials.

Administrator Karachi stated that these sporting events will be held after the current rainy season. The aim is over to give the youth of Karachi an opportunity to fully express their talents. Currently, the focus is all on rainwater harvesting, cleaning of drains, and making roads motorable due to the monsoon rains.
