In order to assist drivers, the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) have set up an information and facilitation desk at the Phulgran toll plaza on the Murree Expressway (N-75). Information Desk set up on Murree Expressway to help travelers.
Information Desk set up on Murree Expressway to help travelers and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) was informed on Monday by a spokesman of the NHMP that police officers will be on hand at the desk to inform and assist travellers.
He continued by saying that the authorities will also guarantee a free flow of traffic. This facility’s goal is to make travel enjoyable and convenient by providing timely updates on the state of the roads, the weather, and other important information.
The NHMP spokesman stated that the police will provide the tourists with emergency assistance in addition to general advice.
He cautioned the public to either avoid unnecessary trips to Murree or to make them with a fully functional car and the appropriate tools, such as tyre chains, tow chains, shovels, full tool kits, etc.
In addition, the spokesperson instructed the crowd to maintain a wider distance from the vehicles in front during bad weather. He urged the people to assist the on-duty police personnel.
