PM Imran Khan has been granted bail in 14 counts filed against him in Islamabad in connection with alleged arson and damage during the PTI’s long march on May 25, according to the Peshawar High Court (PHC). Imran Khan’s plea for pre-arrest bail was granted by the PHC Chief Justice Qaiser Rasheed Khan after hearing the arguments of the petitioner’s counsel Babar Awan. The hearing was attended by Imran Khan, who showed up in person.
The extra session judge in Islamabad received the directions. On June 25, an Islamabad sessions court summoned Imran Khan to appear.
