Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed tweeted Monday that friendship was being built with Israel at the request of imperialist powers, and trade with India was about to begin.
“What will Shehbaz Sharif, who couldn’t bring back his brother in four years on the guarantee of a Rs50 court stamp, give to the nation?” said the former interior minister.
He claimed that the gap between Iran and China was about to widen.
“One has appointed his son as chief minister; another has appointed his son as foreign minister, and a third has appointed his son as communications minister.” “This was the three political rats’ alliance,” he snarled.
Sheikh Rashid stated that the poor were dying as a result of load shedding, inflation, and unemployment, which the new government did not care about.
He went on to say that people like Rana Sanaullah had been hired to use bullets, batons, and tear gas to suppress the nation.
“Loadshedding for 8 to 12 hours is no longer a problem for them. Their issue is getting their cases removed from NAB, FIA, and ANF, and work on that is already underway,” Sheikh Rashid claimed.
“A one-vote majority government will collapse at any time,” he predicted.
“Keeping 10 million overseas Pakistanis out of politics and the electoral process is a national disgrace.” “The Supreme Court issued its decision on that in 2018,” he scoffed.
“I am going to the Supreme Court for the right of overseas Pakistanis to vote,” he declared, adding, “Overseas Pakistanis are the only ones who can save democracy from disaster when assembly members are for sale for Rs200-250 million.”
Sheikh Rashid stated that the first round of price increases for gasoline and electricity had just begun and that the second round would occur between June 5 and June 25.
“People will take to the streets and break the chains of slavery,” he predicted, adding that the government’s demise was unavoidable.
He insisted that a one-vote majority government could not represent 220 million people. “The time will soon come when the president will ask for a vote of confidence, which will shatter all the imperialist powers’ designs,” he predicted.
