The Counter-Terrorism Department police had arrested two terrorists, Abdul Razzak, and Sanaullah, in connection with the Anarkali bombing that killed three people.
From the terrorists’ procession, law enforcement personnel have recovered IEDs, detonators, and remote control batteries.
Both terrorists were sent from Balochistan to Lahore in order to carry out their terrorist activities.
The arrested terrorists had previously attacked railroad stations and law enforcement agencies.
Both were leading terrorists involved in the Anarkali explosion that shook the city on January 20 of this year. Police officials at the time stated that an improvised explosive device (IED) was used in the explosion that shattered the windows of nearby shops and structures.
