Punjab governor does not care Constitution. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Attaullah Tarar said that Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema does not care about the law or the Constitution.
He told a press conference in Lahore that the Punjab government was violating the Constitution by not administering the oath of office to Chief Minister-elect Hamza Shehbaz.
He claimed that a crisis was deliberately sowed in the province.
“The high court has issued three verdicts on the formation of a government in Punjab, but they [Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf] are hell-bent on trampling the Constitution,” he lamented.
He claimed that for the past 27 days, they had been playing with the province and the provincial assembly and that Imran Niazi had imposed Usman Buzdar on Punjab as retaliation.
Other PML-N leaders in attendance included Malik Ahmed Khan, Sardar Awais Leghari, Zeeshan Rafique, Khalil Tahir Sandhu, and Iftikhar Chachar.
