Yesterday, all three girls who went missing from Karachi and their ‘kidnapping’ was widely publicized on social media were found. The girls are all now married and living in different parts of Punjab.
A second Karachi woman, 25-year-old Dina, vanished after Dua Zehra and Nimra Kazmi went missing. Police were compelled to find the missing girls as soon as possible after their cases were widely publicized on social media. A team from the International Automobile Federation (FIA) has joined the hunt for clues, relying on modern technology to aid their efforts.
Okara was rescued by Dua Zehra
According to reports, Okara was the location where Dua Zehra was found. Local landlords in village 40-SP, Pakpattan, helped police recover the girl, according to DPO Faisal Gulzar.
Her husband Zaheer Ahmad, who she met three years ago while playing PubG online, has also released a statement, the DPO said.
The police in Havel Lakha had taken custody of Zehra and her husband, he said. He went on to say that Ms. Zehra had filed a harassment complaint against her family in Lahore, Pakistan. She will be turned over to Lahore police, he said. However, he added, she would not be turned over to Karachi police just yet.
Ms. Zehra was last seen in Lahore, Pakistan, and the police were able to track her down just yesterday. When the police found the woman, she admitted to them that she had left home and married Zaheer Ahmad, a resident of Haveli Lakha, Tehsil Depalpur, on her own.
She stated that she and her husband, Zaheer, were living in the Haveli Lakha home of a landlord. Love marriage was a condition of hers, she claimed. The police were able to see her Nikah Namah because she had it on her person.
Ms. Zehra claimed that she had been beaten by her family and that they wanted her to marry someone else. She insisted that she had not been kidnapped, but had instead traveled here on her own accord.
She denied that she was even 14 years old, as her parents had claimed. She claimed she was 18 years old at the time of Nikah and that she freely agreed to marry Zaheer. It was her way of saying she didn’t want to be bothered because she was content with her marriage.
This afternoon, police in the Punjab province said that Dua Zehra and her husband, Zaheer, who are currently living in Haveli Lakha, would visit the police station to give statements and hand over their Nikah Nama.
In DG Khan, Nimra contracts with Nikah
Yesterday, Nimra Kazmi was also mentioned in the media. She said she had married Najib Shahrukh, a Dera Ghazi Khan resident, to whom she had been engaged since she was a child. When she was a child, she and her family had no intention of getting married. On Monday, she also filed a harassment petition against her father in the additional sessions court, DG Khan. The Taunsa police were prohibited by the judge from harassing her in an illegal manner.
She also put out a video statement saying that she had gone to Najib Shahrukh’s house on April 18 to marry him, insisting that she had not been kidnapped.
There was no Dina in Vehari
The case of Dina, a 25-year-old missing, was no different from the two other missing person cases. Police also traced her whereabouts.
Dina married a man named Asad Abbas, a native of Vehari, Pakistan, on Saturday. When the girl was questioned by police, she said she had entered into a “love marriage”.
Officers in Soldier Bazar informed Dina’s family that their daughter had been kidnapped, and they immediately canceled their application to report her abduction.
