BISP Launches Digital Dashboard for Benazir Nashonuma Program

Islamabad: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has officially launched a real-time digital dashboard aimed at enhancing transparency, performance monitoring, and accountability under its flagship Benazir Nashonuma Program, a nationwide initiative focused on preventing child stunting and improving maternal and child nutrition.

The dashboard was inaugurated by BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid, in the presence of Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Syed Imran Ahmed Shah and Coco Ushiyama, Country Director of the World Food Programme (WFP).

Digital Dashboard to Enable Real-Time Monitoring and Policy Response

The newly launched digital dashboard is designed to provide real-time insights into program implementation, enabling policymakers to closely monitor progress at both federal and provincial levels.

Officials said the platform will play a critical role in strengthening data-driven decision-making across Pakistan’s health and social protection sectors.

Key Features of the BISP Digital Dashboard

  • Real-time tracking of program performance and coverage

  • Enhanced accountability at federal and provincial levels

  • Evidence-based support for nutrition and social protection policies

  • Monitoring of nutrition interventions during the first 1,000 days of a child’s life, a critical period for growth and development

Focus on Child Growth and Girls’ Nutrition

Addressing the ceremony, Senator Rubina Khalid said the initiative reflects BISP’s commitment to ensuring better growth outcomes for children and tackling nutritional deficiencies among girls, who remain disproportionately affected by malnutrition.

She also acknowledged the technical and operational support provided by international development partners, including UNICEF, the World Health Organization, and the World Food Programme.

According to officials, the Benazir Nashonuma Program has already benefited over four million women and children, delivering essential nutrition and health support during early childhood.

BISP Announces Ramadan Stipend Increase for 10 Million Families

Alongside the dashboard launch, BISP announced a Ramadan stipend increase across its flagship social protection programs, providing much-needed financial relief to 10 million beneficiary families nationwide.

Revised Benazir Kafalat Stipend

  • Quarterly stipend increased from Rs. 13,500 to Rs. 14,500

  • Increase of Rs. 1,000 per beneficiary

  • Enhanced payments to be disbursed during the month of Ramadan

Strengthening Social Protection and Nutrition in Pakistan

Officials said the latest initiatives underscore BISP’s continued focus on poverty alleviation, nutrition security, and financial inclusion. By leveraging digital tools and increasing cash assistance, the program aims to protect vulnerable populations from economic shocks while improving long-term health outcomes for women and children across Pakistan.
