Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has revealed plans to establish medical, law, and agriculture colleges in Mianwali, aiming to expand higher education opportunities and promote regional development.
Launch of Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar Programme
During a public gathering, the Chief Minister confirmed that the Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar programme will launch next week. Under the initiative, economically disadvantaged farmers will receive three to five acres of land along with Kisan Cards to support agricultural activities.
She highlighted that over the past two years, the government has distributed more than 21,000 tractors to farmers to strengthen the agricultural sector.
Ongoing Development and Ramadan Relief
Maryam Nawaz emphasized that development projects continue across Punjab without discrimination and announced a Ramadan relief package providing Rs10,000 each to nearly four million citizens.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to practical development, she pledged continued efforts to serve the province and drive economic and social progress.
