The Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench has approved the bail petition of Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza in a blasphemy case registered against him in Jhelum.
Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan heard the case and ordered Mirza to submit two surety bonds of Rs500,000 each as part of the bail conditions.
Earlier, authorities had arrested Mirza under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (3MPO) and shifted him to jail.
Mirza, a YouTube preacher known for his religious commentary, has faced multiple controversies in the past, with the latest case alleging blasphemy-related charges.
