The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday rejected a petition against the acceptance of Usman Buzdar’s resignation.
Informed sources told that the appeal was turned down because it had been dropped.
During the hearing, LHC Chief Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti decided whether or not to accept the resignation of former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar, who resigned last month.
When Tanveer Sarwar went to the court to ask the judge to look into his case, the judge agreed.
Imran Khan, Usman Buzdar, Punjab Chief Minister-elect Hamza Shahbaz, and the governor of Punjab were named as respondents in a petition that had been filed by a group of people.
