The Environment Protection and Climate Change Department of Punjab has announced that Emissions Testing System booths and authorized workshops are now operational across Lahore as part of the province’s effort to curb smog.
According to the department, motorists can visit any emission testing location from Monday to Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., with a break from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Officials said the program is intended to ensure vehicles on Lahore’s roads meet emission standards and to help reduce pollution during the peak smog season.

The department urged all vehicle owners to get their vehicles tested on time, noting that compliance will play a crucial role in improving Lahore’s air quality.
