Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi congratulated the nation on its liberation from Naya Pakistan on Tuesday and stated that the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) actions would be brought to light soon.
In an interview with the media in Islamabad, the former prime minister said, “Where has he [Imran Khan] taken our country?” Either the country or the NAB can run. This government must make a decision right now.”
“It is now time for the NAB chairman to respond,” he added. The NAB officials who continued to break the law and commit corruption must answer.”
“The NAB should be abolished, and its officials should be held accountable,” he demanded. Installing cameras in the courts should allow for live coverage of their cases.”
“The NAB chairman was completely controlled by Imran Khan,” he said. A minister used to give orders. The NAB was unable to file even a single reference against Imran Khan’s government.”
“The government will finish its term,” he asserted. The NAB’s facts and actions will be brought before the people.”
