Dubai Fountain returns to downtown.
The iconic Dubai Fountain will once again light up Downtown from October 1, following a five-month closure for essential renovation works.
Emaar confirmed that daily shows will resume with both afternoon and evening timings, promising a spectacular comeback for one of the city’s most beloved attractions.
The new schedule includes two afternoon shows on weekdays at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm, and on Fridays at 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm.
Evening shows will run every 30 minutes from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, offering plenty of opportunities for residents and tourists to enjoy the breathtaking performances.

Renovation phase one completed
The completed Phase One included key upgrades such as
New tiling across the fountain structure
Improved water insulation
Fresh paintwork to preserve its visual appeal
These enhancements ensure the fountain remains both safe and spectacular, maintaining its signature charm while extending its lifespan.
Global excitement builds
The reopening has generated buzz worldwide, with visitors timing their Dubai trips to coincide with the event. Crowds are expected to gather in large numbers on the opening day, eager to witness the blend of water, light, and music that has made the Dubai Fountain the soul of Downtown since its debut.
Emaar founder Mohamed Alabbar described the fountain’s return as “a celebration of Dubai itself – its spirit, its energy, and its ability to inspire the world.”
Emaar also revealed that Phase Two of the renovation is scheduled for completion in Q2 2026. This stage will introduce innovative new features, promising fresh surprises for audiences and elevating the Dubai Fountain experience to new heights.
