LAHORE: Describing PML-Q leader and Punjab Assembly Speaker Parvez Elahi as an “old player of constitutional violations,” PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz warned Parvez of dire consequences if he continued his “anti-constitutional” actions.
During a press conference, Hamza stated that the Opposition had more than 200 members and that if Parvez Elahi possesses the necessary numbers, why is he repeatedly postponing the Punjab Assembly session?
According to the PML-N leader, Prime Minister Imran Khan and his allies were openly violating the Constitution. “Their workers and leaders attempted to break into a hotel and attack our members. The Supreme Court has taken the matter under advisement “he continued.
Hamza claimed Parvez Elahi was a long-time violator of the Constitution. “The Constitution will govern the country, and we will be able to live in dignity,” he insisted.
“Imran Niazi is hell-bent on destroying the system. The PML-N will take all legal, constitutional, and political measures necessary to counter Imran Khan’s anti-constitutional moves,” he added.
