Maryam Aurangzeb thrteatens to burn CJP's houses if Imran Khan gets relief

Commenting on Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) Qasim Suri’s ruling a day before yesterday, April 3, in which he threw out the opposition’s no-trust motion, alleging a foreign conspiracy, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Tuesday that by doing so at the behest of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the deputy speaker had rendered the country’s constitution meaningless.

Additionally, calling it a ‘historic fraud’ on the Pakistani people, the PML-N spokesperson stated that the country was currently without a government. “Both houses, the President House and the Prime Minister House are occupied by those who just two days ago trampled on the constitution,” she alleged.

She believed that because the constitution was suspended at the time, the country was in a state of a deep political, economic, and constitutional crisis.

Additionally, Marriyum stated that the prime minister’s orders lacked legal and constitutional legitimacy.

She even went so far as to say that anyone who followed PM Imran’s instructions would be considered a collaborator in his crime and would be prosecuted under article-6 of the constitution.

She asserted that the prime minister had held the entire country hostage in a bid to retain office. “As a result, the country has suffered an irreversible loss,” she added.

PM Imran was attempting to hide his ‘incompetence, corruption, and historic failures’ behind the allegation of a foreign conspiracy, according to a PML-N spokesperson.
